Acoustic Treatment

Made and manufactured by the Woolly Shepherd, their custom-built treatments can be installed to suit your environment both aesthetically and acoustically.

Their use of wool and natural materials as well as their work ethic has won them the Institute of Acoustics sustainable design award.

The correct treatment can massively improve the acoustics of any room where reverberation is an issue.

How does acoustic treatment work?

  • Acoustic panels absorb the mid/high frequencies in the environment where they are installed.

  • Each unit can be either suspended or fixed directly to the wall or ceiling, depending on the environment.

  • The units are tailor-made in a range of shapes, sizes and three colours

  • The option of an acoustic test will help determine how poor the acoustic in your environment is.

Please contact us for more information for some examples of what we can provide.

This is a short video which gives you an example of what our acoustic treatment can make. Please click speaker icon on the video to ensure the sound is on to enable you to hear the difference!!

Easy to use professional sound systems

Roberts Audio Solutions Ltd can provide a high quality, bespoke, EASY to use and reliable sound system for hall or large environments. Our engineers have years of experience working in churches, schools, etc providing a tidy installation.

We will carry out a site visit and talk about your requirements and how the system maybe used, for example, presentations, stage performances, etc. assessing the number of microphones, audio connectivity for devices, hearing loop requirements, etc.

Although the systems we provide are simple to operate we always ensure full training and support is given after the installation.

Supporting the hard of hearing

Induction loops can be a useful way to benefit hearing aid users in large and small public places. Utilising the telecoil (T program) in the hearing aid.

There are many different technologies to assist the hearing impaired. With over 15 years of installing systems that meet all required British Standards we are confident we can recommend the best system for your venue.

Many loop systems are often installed in public places as part of a new build or refurbishment and never tested to the appropriate standard. We offer a servicing package to ensure systems are functioning correctly.

Some of the systems that we can provide and install includes the following;

    - Counter loops for reception areas

    - Infrared and FM systems are popular for larger venues

    - Room loops suitable for meeting or training rooms
